The best candidate will have a high level of accuracy, strong attention to detail skills, and a high degree of customer service.   *This position offers a flexible work environment and is aviailable for an an immediate start.   Position Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, check requests and expense reports ensuring accuracy and all appropriate approval levels have been received
• Code all invoices and expense reports ensuring proper classification in the Company’s financial statements
• Generate check and direct deposit payments
• Set up and manage approval routing in accounts payable / expense reporting system
• Create new vendors in accounts payable and the general ledger systems; Ensure proper tax documentation is obtained
• Research vendor statement discrepancies
• Provide credit reports
• Assist with various projects to aid in the strategic initiatives of the Finance & Accounting team
• Other duties assigned as necessary to meet business needs

What We're Looking For:

• Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is required
• 2 or more years’ accounts payable experience preferred
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and within a team atmosphere
• Problem-solving skills to reflect the level of responsibilities
• Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
• Assist with process improvements

The salary range for the Accounts Payable Specialist I position is $23.08 to $26.44 per hour.
