24/7 Security Services Event Staff - Michigan International Speedway at NASCAR in Brooklyn, MI

Nestled on more than 1,400 acres in the Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is a track rich in racing history. It has been the love of NASCAR racing and the thrill of a great time that has made it a favorite of race fans and drivers alike for more than 50 years. Michigan International Speedway has more than 12 campground and is the state of Michigan’s largest registered campground. In addition to two great weekends of racing, the speedway is home to events throughout the year including the MIS Backyard Hockey Tournament, Faster Horses Festival and Nite Lites.

Michigan International Speedway is seeking personnel to join our Seasonal Security Services team. The Seasonal Security Services team provides a visible security presence to guests and employees throughout the Speedway property in order to uphold policies and procedures. This team provides 24/7 Security on property with 8 hour shifts.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Locking/unlocking doors and gates at designated times
Screening all persons accessing property
Maintaining records and checklists
Patrolling the property and monitoring for unwanted, unsafe or suspicious behavior
Assisting guests with questions and providing directions

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older
Prior customer service experience is strongly preferred
Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work with others and take direction
Ability to maintain a professional and courteous attitude with guests at all times
Ability to work nights/weekends as assigned
Excellent verbal communication skills
Some positions may require a valid driver’s license and passing a motor vehicle license inspection report
