We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Data Engineering and Analytics to lead our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be focused on building and optimizing our AWS ecosystem, proficient in strategy and vision execution, and possess strong technical expertise in Python, PySpark, and cloud data engineering patterns (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure). This role requires a deep understanding of the data analytics landscape and exceptional communication skills to facilitate cross-platform collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within data engineering and analytics.
- Expertise in building and managing data ecosystems on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and cloud data engineering patterns.
- Strong understanding of data analytics and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to execute strategy and vision, driving successful outcomes.
- Preferred to have experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Preferred to have knowledge of machine learning and AI frameworks.
- Nice to have familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
Education:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of data engineering strategies to support the company's data-driven initiatives.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and architectures on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions across various platforms.
- Drive the execution of the company's vision for data engineering and analytics, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Mentor and manage a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data engineering processes.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$162,200.00 - [[$235,100.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
