Job Description

The BAE Systems, Inc. Risk Management department is looking for a motivated, customer service-oriented individual, known for the ability to maintain and develop excellent interpersonal relationships.

Works with the company's insurance brokers to respond to requests for certificates of insurance and auto id cards.
Facilities contract review of insurance terms and conditions and provides support to contracts, legal, and subcontracts
Coordinates insurance needs of sectors and business as required
Collects underwriting information and works closely with business partners and insurance brokers
Respond quickly and efficiently to last-minute requests and you respect deadlines.
Comfortable communicating with functional groups as well as project teams
Position requires travel to business sites as needed to provide updated insurance information and develop strong working relationships with multiple business units
Individual work projects as required
Strong ability to understand business challenges, think strategically and quickly synthesize information for the purpose of simplifying and accelerating decision-making.
Facility in speaking in front of smaller and larger groups
A good sense of planning, organization and work rigor as well as a high concern for excellence and quality of work
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's Degree required, additional education in Risk Management and Insurance Preferred.
5+ years of experience in a field related to the insurance/risk management industry, preferably working for or with a global aerospace or defense business
Prior experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Preferred to have the following designations: CPCU, ARM and/or other commercial insurance designations.
Experience working with insurance policies, underwriting submissions, underwriter presentations and formal face to face meetings, contract/agreement reviews.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $87700 - $149100

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
