The City of Washington is accepting applications
for the position of Police Officer.

Requirements include but are not limited to:
* High School Graduate or Equivalent
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* United States Citizen
* Must have current, valid PA driver's license
* Must be ACT 120 Certified OR enrolled in ACT 120 (ACT
120 Certification required at the time of "Offer of
Employment") Applicants who DO NOT have ACT 120
certification at the time of "offer" will remain on hiring list..
Applications can be picked up at City Hall, 55 West Maiden Street, Washington, Pa., City of Washington Police Station (56 W. Strawberry Avenue, Washington, Pa.) or downloaded from the City of Washington website at www.washingtonpa.us.

Applicants are subject to the Civil Service hiring process,
including background checks, drug testing, physical agility testing, written examination, oral examination, psychological and physical examination.

Starting Salary -
$55,068.88 with top rate earned
after 4 years $75,656.42 (based on 2028 salaries)
