Service & Small Pack Logistics

Responsibilities / Tasks

Shipment Management:

  • Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments for the LPT Division, including service projects, service spare parts, warranty, and returns.
  • Plan, schedule, and create documents for all shipments, and Trade Compliance with customs regulations
  • Ensure accurate entries of shipment into the Transportation Management system (TMS).
  • Monitor shipping of spare parts and equipment from origin to destination, including monitoring shipping routes and delivery to meet customer needs.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Collaborate with operational buyers, customer service teams, planners, project engineers, and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and on-time deliveries.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors, suppliers, freight vendors, and all internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Vendor and Payment Management:

  • Oversee all Service freight vendor payments for the LPT service department through the ERP system, including coding, processing, and reconciliation of invoices.
  • Ensure timely and accurate approval of freight invoices, resolving any billing discrepancies or payment issues.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Transportation management for the LPT service organization.

  • Some logistics knowledge preferred

  • Ability to network and build relationships

  • Deep understanding of business on a broad international footprint

  • Very good analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
