The Director, US Price Modelling will lead the development and execution of pricing and contracting modelling to support value optimization for the US commercial organization representing ~50% of CSLB global revenues.
Main Responsibilities:
- From a deep understanding of US healthcare industry, regulations, and stakeholders, lead the development of analytics to support pricing strategies and contacting opportunities across the CSLB US commercial business.
- Operate as a strategic partner to brand and commercial leaders as lead on US pricing data & related insights. Collaborate across US teams including marketing, sales, healthcare systems, operations to integrate pricing insights into broader business strategies and tactical execution.
- Direct efforts across direct reports, internal resources, and external vendors to create innovative solutions for new and actionable value accretive pricing insights into the US business.
- Lead appropriate analyses that support development of value accretive pricing and contracting proposals that drive value optimization across the US business. Translate competitive intelligence into quantitative implications for US pricing and contracting actions.
- Provide insights into impacts of proposed pricing and contracting options across decision choice sets that illustrate impact and value realization for both CSL and relevant channel customers. Represent analysis at US pricing committee and related forums.
- Quantitative evaluation of historical US pricing and contracting actions to create insights that enhance future price action decision fidelity and business success.
- Provide analysis and data that support field team in value realization from executed contracts including content creation for monthly/quarterly customer business reviews.
- Collaborate with analytics functions across the enterprise to realize synergies and scale in insight delivery.
- Provide leadership and development oversight to direct reports to attract, retain and develop talent and support the continued performance of the function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years relevant professional experience.
- Analytically minded with experience generating complex analysis and successful communicating of insights to executive leadership.
- Strong business acumen with deep understanding of US healthcare industry and business models of relevant stakeholders across provider and payer channels.
- Ability to work productively in a cross-functional, team-based environment, managing projects involving multiple functions and shared accountabilities.
