Contract 40 hours per week (for 6-7 months) to a possible permanent salary position. This position is hybrid (near Deerfield Beach, FL) and you would be required to go onsite for meetings.
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and visionary Art Director of Photography to lead our photography projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual storytelling, with the ability to conceptualize and execute striking imagery that aligns with our brand's identity. You will work closely with photographers, stylists, and creative teams to produce compelling visual content that captivates our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative vision for photo shoots, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and other team members to plan and execute photo shoots.
- Oversee the selection of locations, props, and models to enhance visual storytelling.
- Manage the post-production process, including photo editing and retouching, using Adobe Suite and Capture One.
- Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets using SmartSheet.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into photography projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Photography, or a related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing photography and art direction skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) and Capture One.
- Excellent storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Experience with project management tools like SmartSheet.
