Honeywell's ACST team is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer for our Golden Valley, MN location. In this role, you will lead project engineering efforts for cryogenic research and development projects, and will assist in developing new concepts, writing project proposals, and developing innovative technologies for future products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborating with program management, technical
personnel, functional leadership and support organizations to drive the
successful delivery of highly specialized systems
Managing the execution of multiple work packages for
components or integration of an entire system involving multiple
scientific and engineering disciplines
Leading cost, schedule, and technical decisions for
multi-disciplinary engineering teams of six people or more, often needing
to make rapid decisions based on ambiguous or conflicting information
Understanding the technical requirements of a project
so that you can provide guidance to the execution team and information to
program manager when conflicts arise
Preparing and delivering internal reports on project
status including, but not limited to, estimates at complete, delivery
dates, risk status, and recovery plans
Leading the preparation, approval, and delivery of
documentation, as prescribed by contract requirements
Interacting with customers to identify future business
opportunities and contributing to pursuit activities
The annual base salary for
this position is $109,000.00 - $136,000.00. Please note that this salary information
serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when

skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a
technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or
mathematics
Minimum 4 years of technical project leadership
experience
WE VALUE
6 to 10 years of experience in engineering, research
& development, manufacturing, or a related field
Active TS security clearance with polygraph
Extensive experience with earned value management and
lifecycle gated milestone development
Experience developing and managing project plans using
standard tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira)
Experience with requirements development and
validation
Experience with new product development and transition
into a production environment
Ability to understand business objectives and interact
with our customers
Proactive and resourceful self-starters with ability
to multi-task
