About This Opportunity

Job Overview:

Supervises a team of Information Technology Services personnel; develops corporate policies, programs and procedures as they relate to IT; ensures compliance with company and store policies, procedures, standards and goals.

Core Responsibilities:

• Supervises, hires, trains, evaluates and motivates a team of ITS personnel ranging across a variety of specialized disciplines
• Understands the business areas being supported well; works with the business areas for preparation of business plans, strategic directions, and resolution of problems
• Directs and coordinates the work plans and activities of those personnel assigned to and ensures requirements and quality of work are met at the expected level
• Provides guidance and direction on problems, solutions. system parameters and modifications; conducts operational walk-throughs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and efficiency of systems, programs and solutions
• Provides information, advice, and staff assistance to management regarding new hardware and software
• Negotiate with vendors to maximize return on expenditures for supplies, maintenance agreements and capital purchases
• Propose changes in operations and/or established systems in an effort to enhance controls or improve efficiencies through better use of technology
• Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of a VS rating on the last two annual reviews.
• Demonstrate expertise with MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to track multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent understanding of intra-department operations.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds

Education:Bachelor's Degree of equivalent education and experience

-IT or Business Related Field

Other Skills:

• 5+ years professional ITS experience preferred.
• Equivalent experience leading a team or project management.
• Supervisor Experience
