Data Architect Job Description
Our company is searching for a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our talented team. Your central responsibility as the Data Architect will be to design, implement, and manage scalable data architecture solutions that support business objectives.
Ideal candidate will ensure the organization's data systems are efficient, secure, and assigned with modern data governance and analytics requirements; also have proven experience in data analysis & management and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture Design
Design and maintain robust scalable, and efficient data models and architecture.
Develop and document data flows and integration strategies.
Data Modelling
Develop, implement and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models
Optimize database designs for performance, scalability and flexibility.
Validate data Architecture to ensure they meet all functional and non-functional requirements.
Integration and Interoperability
Design ETL/ETL process to enable seamless integration of diverse data sources.
Collaborate with developers to integrate data architecture with applications and systems.
Collaboration
Work with cross-functional team to understand the business needs and translate hem into technical requirements.
Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stake holders to optimize data solutions.
Educate staff members through training and individual support.
Publish and present technical papers to external audiences and participate in significant internal publications, sharing new ideas and knowledge.

Technology evaluation
Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platform to enhance the organization data capabilities.
Stay updated on Industry Trends and emerging technologies.
Data Management & Governance
Establish and enforce data architecture best practice and standards.
Ensure data Architecture, data Models, Data Integration comply with Data governance & standards.
Performance Optimization
Monitor and optimize performance of data storage layer, scalability.
Implement strategies for improving data accessibility and query efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modelling or related roles
Proven experience as a Data Architect or in similar role
Skills
Proficiency in data modelling, metadata management and database design
Strong understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL, Open format - Delta tables, Hudi, Iceberg)
Experience with cloud platforms - AWS, Azure.
Hands-on experience with modern Data Lake technologies (Databricks, Redshift)
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT Tools (Matillion, dbt, Informatica IDMC and Databricks - pyspark, SQL)
Strong Analytics and problem-solving skills
Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
Knowledge on data governance, data quality and data lineage
Excellent analytics and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Growth mindset - thrive on experimenting with emerging AI technologies, continuous learning, innovation and derive best practices.
Relevant certifications such as AWS , TOGAF, Certified data management/Architect professional are a plus and will be considered a strong advantage.
Knowledge in Machine Learning - Lifecycle management, feature engineering , data processing, pipelines, and Operations.
Knowledge in using next Gen - AI techniques in Data Architecture and Data modelling.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$114,700.00 - $180,500.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
