Responsibilities*
- Utilizing medical record system (MiChart) to screen, recruit and capture participant data.
- Data management (collect, record, and input hard and electronic study forms- data entry, and quality assurance, maintain various logs)
- Sample collection and shipment
- Coordinating study visits/activities
- Communicating with participants
- Working with health care providers for recruitment
- Serving as a resource and contact person for active protocols
- Communicating and relaying data to entire study team
- Reporting weekly on subject enrollment and progress in studies
- Ensuring compliance with the protocol and adherence to Good Clinical Practice obligations.
- Perform general office and administrative duties related to clinical studies
- Other duties as assigned or required for the research project
Required Qualifications*
- Travel to clinic sites in and around East and West Ann Arbor, Brighton, Northville, etc.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and organize multiple projects
- Highly organized and detail-oriented a must
- Computer skills - MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Desired Qualifications*
- Associate Degree in Health Science or an equivalent combination of related education and experience is desirable.
- An understanding of medical terminology, experience in a large complex health care setting, ability to effectively communicate with staff and faculty of all levels, and knowledge of university policies and procedures is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to learn and use new skills quickly and effectively
- Able to maintain data confidentiality and participant/subject/patient privacy.
- Excellent attendance record and strong work ethics
- Epic Experience is preferable
- Research experience is preferable
Work Schedule
This position will be onsite and work from home maybe an option as needed.

Background Screening
