Overview
The Quality Control Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves conducting routine quality control tests, analyzing data, and documenting results
Responsibilities
- Prepares samples for testing
- Performs visual inspection and dimensional analysis using vision system
- Sample testing for fiber characteristics such as performance using various testing equipment
(Measurement equipment, refractometer, spectrophotometer)
- Preparation of chemical solutions for marker testing
- Routine in house calibration on some equipment as needed
- Ensure compliance to current SOP’s and Work Instructions
- Records test data in excel spreadsheet
- Maintenance of laboratory glassware and inventory
- Adherence to all company Quality policies and procedures
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
Qualifications
- Laboratory or manufacturing setting work experience preferred, within a controlled Quality environment
- 1 year of LabWorks experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and time management
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively, especially within a team environment
- Minimum of High School diploma required; advanced education preferred
- Microsoft software skills required

The estimated hourly rate range for this role, based in the United States of America is $22-24. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
