Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests using Selenium to improve testing efficiency.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Perform database testing and validation using SQL to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups, to provide input on quality and testing methodologies.
• Report and track defects using issue tracking tools, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that existing functionality remains unaffected by new code changes.
• Create and maintain documentation related to testing processes and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools, especially Selenium.
• Familiarity with SQL and experience in database testing.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
