Position Details:
Job title: Python Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC / Plano, TX / Jersey City, NJ / Chicago, IL
Duration: 12 Months
Pay rate: $55- 75/hr
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will specialize in backend development using Python and have solid expertise in multithreading, multiprocessing, and object-oriented programming (OOP). The role involves working on enterprise-wide applications in a fast-paced environment. Experience in risk management or investment banking is a strong plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Experience in any programming language (Python, Java, C#)
- Experience in Industry Financial data models such as FIX, FpML.
- Very good knowledge in capital markets products and trade lifecycle.
- Experience in communication protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, RESTFul, gRPC, P2P, RPC, and Sockets etc.
- Strong in basic data structures and algorithms
- Must be a self-starter, independent thinker with excellent communication.
- Ability to work in fast development environment and adapt quickly.
- Ability to work with agile methodology.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of electronic/post trade workflows (Clearing, Client Affirmation, Broker/SEF, Netting/Compression/Weekly Clearing)
- Experience in Finance Domain. Capital markets business knowledge, including FX, Bonds and Derivatives
Skills:
