Our social media giant client seeks a Product Marketing Manager (Events) to join their team in this 6 month freelance role, fully remote anywhere in the US!
The Product Marketing Manager (Events) will be responsible for the following:
- Event Strategy Development:
" Collaborate with technical teams and marketing teams to define event goals, target audience, and key messaging aligned with overall product marketing strategy.
" Develop comprehensive marketing plans for each event, including pre-event promotion, on-site activation, and post-event follow-up.
" Create compelling event narratives and value propositions that resonate with potential attendees.
- Core PMM, Content Creation and Marketing Execution:
" Create compelling presentations that articulate event value prop, strategy and supporting details for both internal exec and non-exec audiences
" Drive cross-channel PMM campaigns to deliver product and program objectives; tie back to KPIs
" Develop event landing pages, registration forms, email campaigns, social media content, and other marketing materials to promote events.
" Manage event branding and messaging across all channels to maintain consistency.
" Collaborate with content marketing teams to produce event-related blog posts, articles, and supporting collateral.
- On-Site Event Support:
" Collaborate with the events and technical teams to plan on-site event logistics and activities, including speaker presentations, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities.
" Monitor event metrics and make adjustments as needed to optimize attendee engagement.
" Post-Event Analysis and Reporting:
" Analyze event data to measure success against key metrics (registrations, attendance, ROI, feedback).
" Develop post-event reports to share insights and recommendations for future events
The ideal Product Marketing Manager (Events) should possess the following:
- Minimum 8+ years experience in PMM- campaign development, event management, campaign/event measurement, messaging, content marketing, audience/market research
- Project Management: strong organizational skills, strong ppt abilities, event attendance and management
- Relationship building: ability to work cross-functionally, manage some ambiguity
