Job Description
This Intern will be responsible for assisting a team of procurement professionals in providing the best value parts and service for our Military Aircraft Systems and Power and Propulsion System business areas. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities, including reporting, analytics, purchase order creation and maintenance, and supplier management. The intern will train and mentor with experienced Supply Chain Planners and Buyers to understand and execute MRP recommendations in a Lean 6 Sigma continuous improvement environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related major
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
Self motivated with strong work ethic
10 to 15 hours per week when school is in session, extended hours over the summer

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Third or fourth year undergraduate student
Good academic standing
Long term interest in Supply Chain Management
Continued work through summer months.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $25584.00 - $34528.00

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
