Administrative Assistant - Operations - Plant Farley
Summary of Position Duties
This position will provide clerical support to the Operations Department. Job duties include Operations scheduling, timekeeping, filing, typing, maintaining procedures, and preparing reports and special projects. This position will also periodically fill in for other Administrative Assistants within the department and across the site. Administrative staff will support outage needs as required.
Job Experience and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum two (2) years clerical experience required
- Five (5) years in a secretarial/administrative support role preferred
- Experience and good performance record in the area of document and/or information management or customer service type capacity is highly desirable
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High level working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Outlook
- High level working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat or other scanning software
- Working knowledge of Oracle or an electronic timekeeping system is desired
- Working knowledge of Documentum/ Webtop is desired
- Experience with handling multiple priorities, high volume workload, working in a fast paced and team atmosphere environment
- Handling a high level of customer interface in person and over the telephone with a high degree of professionalism
- Possess high level keyboarding skills proficiency
- Possess effective written and oral communication skills
- Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of efficiency
- Possess ability and desire to learn new computer software programs and be able to apply them
Other Requirements
- Must successfully qualify on the SHL Administrative and SkillCheck pre-employment tests
- May be necessary to periodically work overtime, weekends, and possibly night shift during refueling outages
