Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly technical engineer with excellent communication skills and a Sec/Dev/FinOps mindset who will build and support cloud platform capabilities that simplify and enable the Azure platform. The team is writing the playbook as we build, which requires innovative thinking, active product discovery, creative solutions, and maintaining close communication with customers to understand friction points and opportunities for improvement. As a mid to senior level contributor, you are expected to educate and coach stakeholders and model mature engineering and leadership competencies.
Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Deep knowledge and experience in designing, deploying, and supporting cloud platform infrastructure
- Strong understanding of cloud and on-premises networking concepts (experience in this area is highly desired)
- Information Security Awareness and best practices
- Identity and Access Management concepts
- Hands-on experience in cloud enablement and support, preferably with Azure
- Proficiency with Windows Server and Client platforms/operating systems, including capabilities used for building, maintaining, and monitoring them
- Terraform
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, HCL, or PowerShell
- Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices (experience with GitLab is a plus)
- Knowledge/expertise in GitOps deployments
- Entra ID – OIDC
Education:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of cloud platform experience
- Ongoing track record of continuous learning and personal development
