Materials Supervisor
GRADE LEVEL: Exempt 6
JOB SUMMARY
The Materials Supervisor directs warehouse personnel and manages inventories to provide parts, materials as needed to support safe and efficient nuclear power plant operation and maintenance, in compliance with quality assurance requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
• High School diploma required
• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field, preferred
Experience
• At least five years of nuclear power plant experience, preferred
• Working knowledge of Supply Chain policies, procedures, practices, and quality assurance requirement highly desired; plant operations, planning and maintenance practices preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Maximo Supply Chain and Work Management processes, Microsoft Office, and Oracle preferred
• Excellent communication skills

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as site Supply Chain Manager in that individual’s absence
• Serve as On-Call Duty Officer for Supply Chain
• Guide training and qualification for warehouse staff:
• Acquire and maintain ANSI N45.2.6 Level II receipt inspector qualification
• Performance management for warehousemen per the IBEW Labor Agreement
• Plan and schedule daily activities supporting receiving, inspection, stocking, and issuing materials to support customer needs and maintain inventory controls
• Supervise warehouse employees to perform:
• Issue and return for materials, parts, and tools
• Quality receipt inspections and documentation
• Safe handling and transportation of incoming and outgoing freight
• Storage and maintenance of materials in inventory
• Requisition/reorder process for materials, parts, and tools
• Foreign material exclusion control for stored materials
• Control of hazardous materials
• Conduct periodic inventory audits and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley controls of receipts, issues, returns, spot checks, and access controls
• Develop or revise procedures for warehouse processes
• Coordinate investment recovery activities dealing with sales and disposals of materials
• Project Management for assigned special projects
