Beacon Hill Legal is partnering on a search with a reputable, fast-growing law firm client in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This full-time position offers administrative support to firms Finance group. This is a fully onsite role.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, edit, and proof documents and correspondence based on attorney instructions, utilizing MS Word, Excel, and other specialized software
Conduct conflict checks for new clients and matters, and initiate new files
Manage the firm's files using the appropriate software
Create labels, organize documents, and maintain proper filing systems
Coordinate meetings, travel, conference room bookings, etc.
Assist with time entry and the billing process, including editing pre-bills, preparing invoices, and handling expense reports, reimbursements, check requests, CLE reports, and trust accounting
Answer phones, take messages, assist callers, and redirect calls as needed
Maintain electronic calendars for assigned attorneys

Qualifications & Experience:

High School Diploma (or equivalent) with at least two years of experience as an legal assistant in a law firm setting.
Law firm or finance practice experience is preferred
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with a willingness to learn specialized software as necessary
Strong attention to detail with the ability to proofread for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors, and perform basic arithmetic calculations on timesheets or documents
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
