JOB FUNCTION
Stäubli Corporation (Duncan, SC), a leading manufacturer of fluid connectors for use in cooling of IT systems, is seeking a qualified individual for an IT Cooling Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer position.
This is a remote, full-time, outside sales position, based in the Pacific Northwest area.
The Sales Engineer will be the primary point of contact with Stäubli's datacenter clients within the Greater Seattle Region and Oregon. The role demands a combination with technical expertise in cooling systems and data center infrastructure, along with proven sales and key account management abilities.

North America - IT Cooling Local Business Head
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES
- Understand and execute Stäubli market strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current or new customers, channel partners, and co-suppliers on regular basis, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.
- Educate and persuade potential customers on the value and advantages of Stäubli products and services.
- Gain market insights to identify product development opportunities, share competition intelligence, to ultimately generate new Business Development opportunities for Stäubli's IT Cooling product portfolio.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and workshops to customers and prospective clients, creating value.
- Participate in weekly planning and review calls with management and IT cooling team.
- Participate in weekly North American & Global meetings and calls, to align on strategy and activities.
- Define and share forecasts and periodic market & customer trend analysis.
- Actively and timely communicate and create reports to both local and global IT Cooling Segment Team members - utilizing Stäubli's CRM.
- Actively attend various marketing events, trade shows, and industry functions to network and promote the company offering.
- Generate and follow up on Leads in timely manner.
- To gain and provide needed technical specification information to Technical/Applications Team to generate new projects.
- To efficiently handle any customer's claim in a shortest timeframe and keep highest standard of customer satisfaction.
- Handle administrative duties such as preparing sales reports, updating client records, and managing sales project timelines
- To efficiently communicate/collaborate with relevant divisional teams, such as Engineering/Application, Sales Administration, and Service to offer top notch technical solution to customers
- To report sales activity results and expenses per company policy
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably with a specialization in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering.
- Preferred 3 - 5 year of sales experience, or key account manager in technical field, with a focus on thermal management solutions in the datacenter of high-performance computer industry.
- Proven experience in key account management with the ability to foster long-term client relationships
Travel:
- Travel 50% to 70%; primarily in Seattle WA area, but also including across USA and limited Internationally.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Valid passport or capability to get a passport
Competencies:
- Excellent relationship building, communication, and analytical skills.
- Teamworking.
- Bilingual is a plus: Mandarin
- Pro-active, hands on, collaborative, high sense of urgency approach.
- Background in IT supply chain, liquid cooling technology and sales process experience is a plus.
- Ability to make clear and timely reporting.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

- Works effectively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to use a PC and Microsoft Office applications at a high level.
Compensation details: 110000-140000 Yearly Salary
