This posting covers 3 residential degree programs- Bachelor of Science in Information, Master of Science in Information and Master of Health Informatics.

Job Summary

The School of Information (UMSI) is a progressive, interdisciplinary professional school offering a Bachelor of Science in Information, a Master of Science in Information, a Master of Health Informatics, and a Ph.D. Our mission is to create and share knowledge so that people will use information - with technology - to build a better world.

The School of Information is seeking Instructional Aides to help support Fall courses. For more information about the School of Information (UMSI), please see our website.  

The compensation for this position is $20-$30/hour.

Responsibilities*

Responsibilities may include some of the following:  

  • Support instructing faculty in helping facilitate courses and the preparation of instructional materials; 
  • Give laboratory or clinical demonstrations; 
  • Prepare, administer, and grade examinations, or assignments, under the guidance of faculty and using a rubric;
  • May help organize course materials.

Desired Qualifications*

Graduation from a college or university with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or an equivalent knowledge of the subject matter.

Additional Information

Hours will vary over the course of the term as instructional support needs fluctuate.
