Volt is immediately hiring for Electrical Assembler in Hitchcock, Texas.
As an Electrical Assembler, you will:
- Install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
- Apply knowledge of all types of electrical conduit to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install.
- Work with 120/240 single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems.
- Splice wires and/or terminate wires to lighting, power, and control equipment.
- Connect power cables to equipment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Working knowledge of the NEC.
- Working knowledge of switchgear integration is helpful.
- Commercial/Industrial experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
