Come drive for an amazing non-profit and support King County Youth in need. As a shuttle driver, you will be playing an integral part in supporting the youth we serve. This position would be perfect for a retiree or someone seeking to supplement their income. The Driver of Shelter, Drop-In and Support Services will be transporting clients between our Kirkland program location and the local transit center.
Schedule:
Thursday-Saturday, 6:30PM-11:30PM
Essential Duties
- Transports clients safely back and forth between our Kirkland program location and the local transit center.
- Provides excellent customer service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have in a polite and professional manner.
- Determines best routes to avoid heavy traffic or accidents to ensure timely arrival and departure at destinations.
- Tracks mileage and repair records.
- Keeps vehicle fueled at all times.
- Uses care, caution, common sense and courtesy while driving agency vehicles.
- Follows all federal, state, and city traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintains cleanliness of both interior and exterior of shuttle vehicle.
- Conducts regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Immediately reports any vehicle maintenance needs to supervisor.
- Arranges for vehicle repairs and routine maintenance as needed.

We require:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving history.
- Experience driving a shuttle bus, box truck, or other larger vehicle. (No CDL required)
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check & TB test
- Proof of COVID vaccination
- Must be at least 18 years of age
