We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding and supporting business teams, BI teams, and technical teams in the design, development, implementation, and management of databases and data flows. You will translate business and technical requirements into actionable plans, ensuring the development of efficient, scalable, and reliable data strategies. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who thrives on problem-solving and working across departments to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business, BI, and technical teams to design and develop data strategies that align with business needs and technical requirements.
• Develop action plans and designs by translating business and technical requirements into practical data solutions.
• Analyze methods for acquiring data from multiple sources and identify the most efficient and reliable ways to integrate and store this data.
• Design data models and implement solutions that optimize data flow and data quality.
• Ensure the scalability, security, performance, and reliability of data systems.
• Develop and manage databases, data pipelines, and workflows that support business processes and decision-making.
• Analyze and evaluate system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Contribute to system design and architecture, ensuring best practices are followed in all aspects of data management.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data technologies, methodologies, and industry trends.
• Assist with the development and testing of software applications and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of technical and business experience in data management or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and manipulation.
• Experience in designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proven ability to collaborate across business and technical teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data strategies and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences through data-driven insights and solutions.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Certifications in relevant data technologies or methodologies are a plus.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $57 to $62. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
