Purpose of the Position:
glassybaby is seeking a driven, organized, entrepreneurial go-getter, with extensive retail and wholesale experience, to develop and execute a wholesale and partner marketing strategy.
This position will be responsible for four main partnership types: wholesale accounts, real estate affiliates, hotel and hospital affiliates, and collegiate promotions. Developing mutually beneficial relationships with all partners will be crucial, as will maintaining open lines of communication.
This role will be a standard-bearer for the beauty and meaning of the glassybaby brand, representing our values of kindness, craftsmanship, and generosity to America. This means candidates must be able to fully understand the intangible aspects of glassybaby and develop an authentic love for the product and its message.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, extensive sales experience (including success with cold calls), and ideally account management and wholesale inventory management experience. They should be self-starters, hungry for growth, risk, and expansion. Yet they should also be capable and humble enough to learn, because they will need to internalize the unique glassybaby brand.
Primary Duties
- Must have experience in promoting, selling and marketing glassybaby as the go to corporate gift for any occasion.
- Responsible for forming, maintaining and expanding wholesale accounts, real estate, hotel, hospital and collegiate affiliates
- Identify potential markets and help develop marketing strategies to target a market area
- Build rapport by sharing the glassybaby story at all reasonable opportunities while professionally and accurately representing glassybaby in interactions with current and future partners + customers.
- Demonstrated ability to grow business through cold call sales
- Arrange and monitor marketing activities and sales campaigns
- Track and measure marketing outcomes, including responses, leads, sales, retention and ROI (Return on Investment)/ROMI (Return on Marketing Investment)
- Generate and submit sales report to management
Measurements of Performance (Ongoing)
- Expanding wholesale accounts, real estate, hotel, hospital and collegiate markets
- Build new market areas - thru outreach, promotion of brand recognition
- Create and maintain correspondence, build a new market data base
- Demonstrated ability to grow business through cold call sales.

Education, Experience, Certifications, Licenses
- BS in Marketing, business
- NetSuite - ability a plus - CRM module
- 7-10 years of extensive sales experience in Retail and wholesale, looking to generate over 5 million in sales.
- Base Salary plus commission after 90 days
- Extensive experience with cold calling
- Account Management and wholesale inventory Management
- Self-starter but willing to learn the product and the message it portrays
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products
