This is a hybrid position which requires 2 days per week onsite.

We are looking for a Commissioning Specialist to join TLC Engineering Solutions (TLC) in Nashville, TN. The Commissioning Specialist is responsible for all sizes and types of projects, with the opportunity to work independently on smaller projects and the guidance and mentorship of experienced Project Managers and Commissiong Agents for more complex projects. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow your experience from design review to functional testing. TLC provides a defined career path and training at all levels.

Qualifications You'll Need:

• 3+ years progressive experience in MEP design / construction administration, commissioning, building operations, a test and balance technician role, a DDC controls technician role, or other related industry experience
• Experience with commissioning software such as CxAlloy
• Ability and willingness to travel (more than 50%)
• Knowledge in at least two of the following:
  • Building Automation and controls systems
  • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing systems
  • Fire alarm/life safety systems
  • Lighting and lighting controls
  • Emergency power systems
  • Low voltage systems
  • Renewable energy systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• LEED accreditation
• Associate or bachelor's degree
