The Collections Manager role is to lead a focused, limited-term project dedicated to collecting past-due amounts from former tenants. This position is expected to last approximately 6-9 months and offers a unique chance to make a significant impact in a short-term capacity.
The Collections Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing strategies to recover outstanding balances owed by past tenants. This role requires a results-driven individual with strong negotiation skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to achieving collection goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute efficient strategies to collect past-due amounts from former tenants.
- Manage communications and negotiations with past tenants while maintaining professionalism and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Track and report collection efforts and success rates on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate account records and compliance.
- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvement to maximize recovery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in collections, account recovery, or a similar role.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
