Administrative Assistant (Maintenance) - Plant Vogtle 3&4
Summary of Position Duties
This position will provide clerical support to the Maintenance Department. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: timekeeping, maintaining Schedule Anywhere, ordering department office supplies, maintaining the overtime preference list, qualify for proctor, travel planning, coordinating various events/meetings, filing, typing, maintaining procedures, PQS scheduling, , Maintenance management calendar management, preparing expense reports, coordinating special projects, assembling work package binders, scanning and submitting quality records(QARC qualified), outage shared resources coordinating, maintain Maintenance webpage and other administrative duties. This position will also provide back-up support to the other Administrative Assistants within the department and across the site. This position will support refueling outages and the emergency response organization.
Job Experience & Education
- High School diploma or GED is required, higher level education preferred
- Minimum two (2) years administrative work experience required
- Five (5) years secretarial/administrative work experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote, SharePoint & Power Point)
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite preferred
- Proficiency in Nitro/Adobe Acrobat preferred
- Experience with volume printing and scanning systems and software preferred
- Understanding of Quality Assurance Records and engineering documents is desirable
- Working knowledge of Documentum D2 is preferred
- Working knowledge of MAXIMO is preferred
- Working knowledge of an electronic timekeeping system is preferred
- Must be a proficient typist
- Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
- Experience handling multiple projects, high volume workload, working in a fast paced and team environment is preferred
- Ability to learn industry specific software in assigned areas
- Handling a high level of customer interface in person and over the telephone with a high degree of professionalism
Other Requirements
- Must successfully qualify on both the SHL Clerical Test, and if invited, a Microsoft Office Skills Test.
- Any applicant accepting this position will be required to meet background and screening and NRC Fitness for Duty requirements for Unescorted Authorized Access to commercial nuclear power facilities.
